| Well-known Finnish painters, interpreters of national
romanticism Louis Sparre and Akseli Gallen-Kalela travelled
together on their painting journeys e.g. in Ruovesi where
they both got their first touch on Näsijärvi water
way and on it’s ships.
Journey starts with a guided tour in former Finlayson mill
manager's residence, Pikkupalatsi - the Little Palace which
is a fine example of Neo-Renaissance architecture in Tampere.
Journey continues on a cruise on 100 year old steamship Tarjanne
in the magnificent scenery of lake Näsijärvi whilst
enjoying delicious lunch. |
